Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA)
/ˈkæmpə/A statutory body established under the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Act, 2016 (effective 2018), to manage funds collected from user agencies that divert forest land — funds (comprising NPV of diverted forests, compensatory afforestation costs) are used for afforestation, forest management, wildlife habitat improvement, and community participation.
