The History book covers India's earliest civilisations (Harappan), Vedic society, Janapadas, Mahajanapadas, the Mauryan Empire, post-Mauryan developments, and the Gupta period — the exact chronology tested in Prelims. Geography covers Earth's physical structure and India's physical features. Civics introduces democracy, governance, and social equality — foundational for GS2.

Class 6 Science covers living organisms, food and nutrition, materials, motion, and electricity — concepts that appear in UPSC GS3 environment and science-technology questions.
