Who is Krishna Deva Raya?
Krishnadevaraya (17 January 1471 – 17 October 1529) was the greatest emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire, ruling from 1509 to 1529 CE as the third ruler of the Tuluva dynasty. Under his reign, Vijayanagara reached the zenith of its power, territorial extent, and cultural achievement — earning him the title of the most powerful ruler of the Indian peninsula of his time.
