The UPSC Civil Services Examination is one of the longest selection processes in the country. Based on the verified CSE 2025 cycle:
Stage 1 — Prelims: Held in late May. Results declared approximately 2.5 to 3 weeks later.
- CSE 2025: Prelims 25 May 2025; result 11 June 2025
Stage 2 — DAF-I (Mains registration): Opens within days of Prelims result, typically for about 10 days.
