Golden Rules for the Final Week
- No new books, no new topics — revise what you know; unfamiliar topics waste time and create anxiety
- 2 mock tests at exact UPSC timings — 9:30 AM start; builds exam temperament
- Sleep 7–8 hours — consolidation happens during sleep; sleep deprivation kills recall
- Avoid WhatsApp groups and "last-minute tips" — 99% is noise
- CSAT is qualifying (33%) — do not spend more than 2 hours on it this week
- Negative marking: -⅓ — skip if unsure between 3–4 options; attempt if you can eliminate 2
