NDA & NA (I) 2026 on Sunday, 12 April 2026 across UPSC centres nationwide. Notification released 10 December 2025 with 394 vacancies; applications closed 30 December 2025. NDA (II) 2026 scheduled for 13 September 2026.
CDS (I) 2026 on Sunday, 12 April 2026 (same day as NDA-I, different timings). Notification released December 2025 with 451 vacancies. CDS (II) 2026 scheduled for 13 September 2026.
Prelims scheduled for Sunday, 24 May 2026. Official notification released 4 February 2026 with 979 tentative vacancies (including 38 for PwBD). Application window: 4-24 February 2026 (6:00 PM). Mains begins 21 August 2026.
IFoS 2026 notification released 4 February 2026 with 80 tentative vacancies. Screening is via the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination on 24 May 2026; IFoS Mains scheduled from 22 November 2026. Applications closed 24 February 2026.
ESE Mains 2026 scheduled for 21 June 2026 — descriptive papers in the engineering discipline chosen at DAF stage. Followed by Personality Test in H2 2026.
CAPF AC 2026 written examination on Sunday, 19 July 2026 (Paper I: 10:00-12:00, Paper II: 14:00-17:00). Notification released 12 February 2026 with 349 tentative vacancies. Applications: 12 February - 12 March 2026.
Mains 2026 begins 21 August 2026 — five-day, nine-paper descriptive examination. Only prelims-qualified candidates will receive DAF-I thereafter. Tentative vacancies via CSE-2026 cycle: 979.
Phase I interviews (649 candidates) were held 8-19 December 2025 at UPSC Bhavan, Dholpur House. Phase II for the remaining 2,107 candidates runs 5 January to 27 February 2026. One rescheduled session (earlier 22 Jan afternoon) moved to 27 Feb 2026 forenoon due to Republic Day dress rehearsal.
CMS 2026 notification released 11 March 2026 with 1,358 vacancies (864 CHS GDMOs + 450 Railways ADMO + 14 NDMC + 30 MCD). Applications open 11-31 March 2026. Written examination scheduled for Sunday, 2 August 2026 (09:00-12:00).
ESE 2026 Prelims was conducted on 8 February 2026 with 474 tentative vacancies. Notification was released 26 September 2025; applications closed 16 October 2025. ESE 2026 Mains scheduled for 21 June 2026.
UPSC declared the CSE 2025 Written (Mains) result on 11 November 2025. A total of 2,736 candidates qualified for the Personality Test / Interview stage. DAF-II to be filled thereafter.
UPSC declared the Civil Services Examination 2024 final result on 22 April 2025. Shakti Dubey secured AIR 1, followed by Harshita Goyal (AIR 2) and Dongre Archit Parag (AIR 3). A total of 1,009 candidates were recommended for appointment across 21 services.
