Class VII History is the single most important NCERT for UPSC Medieval History. The Delhi Sultanate, Mughal Empire, architecture and buildings (Qutb Minar, Red Fort), towns and trade, Bhakti-Sufi movements, and tribal/nomadic communities are all directly tested in GS1.
